‘The Golden Bachelor’ Celebrates First Blended Christmas

It’s not the holidays without your loved ones! This year, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are celebrating their first Christmas together since their big engagement. While the happy couple has seemed over the moon when it comes to wedding planning for their big day in January, they aren’t the only two in the picture. Both Theresa and Gerry have children of their own who are coming together to celebrate the holidays this year.
In a new Instagram post, Gerry actually shared a snapshot of the blended family getting together for the holiday. In the picture, everyone is wearing a red sweatshirt that says “A Very Gerry Christmas.”
Playing off the fun pun, Gerry also included it in his caption writing: “Going to be a very Gerry Christmas with Theresa and our blended family.”
It seems that he is really loving having such a large family to celebrate the holiday with this year.

Mixed feelings about the family
While, of course, Gerry and Theresa seem very happy about their newly blended family, it seems fans have some concerns in the comments. Some even wonder if this relationship is going to last, calling Gerry out specifically.
“This will not last! Gerry is shady!” one person writes.
“I just don’t know why the big rush of getting married .in 4 or 5 months you really really don’t no each that well. And I would never moved away from my 91 year old dad for someone that I met,when you don’t have them it’s never the same.😢,” another notes.
However, not all is bad in the comments. Several other fans joined in to share holiday greetings with The Golden Bachelor family.
Watching them tie the knot
As long as everything stays good with the family, Gerry and Theresa are set to say their vows this January. They have both made it clear that they do not want to wait to get married since they are already older than the average person to get married. Instead, they will have a ceremony in January and air it on TV so all their fans can join in on the special moment.
