‘Golden Bachelor’ Fans Slam Gerry After Meeting His Biggest Fan
The Golden Bachelor is meeting some of his biggest fans! Gerry Turner snapped a photo of one of his biggest fans who may also be one of his smallest. However, not everyone was happy about it. Keep reading to learn more about the picture and why some followers are so upset.

Gerry Turner seems to be loving life outside of the Bachelor mansion. The Golden Bachelor star has been sharing several photos on his Instagram lately. Of course, these include snaps with Theresa and even some holiday snaps with his new blended family.
However, his new post is with someone totally new. Instead of sharing a picture with a family member, he snapped a photo with a little girl named Emory. According to the caption, it seems that Emory is a huge Golden Bachelor fan whom he met at a party.
“Sometimes the BIGGEST Golden Bachelor fans come in the smallest packages. Met Emory at a lakeside party last night,” he writes in the caption.
Both Emory and Gerry are dressed in gold outfits, wearing big smiles on their faces. Little Emory even has a gold, metallic rose in her hand.
Pretty upset at Gerry
While the photo Gerry shared on his Instagram seemed sweet enough, several were sure to let him know that they did not like him in the comments of the post. Most that said something negative told Gerry that they did not think he was a ‘sincere’ man.
“I’m very disappointed in you and how you falsely portrayed yourself as a sincere man grieving the loss of his wife. The fact that you started dating a month after your wife passed, it speaks volumes about your character,” one person writes in the comments.
They go on to call Gerry ‘superficial’ because of his treatment of his exes.
“Also, how you broke up with your girlfriend for her weight issue shows how superficial you are and how you are looking for a trophy wife with money. Based on your treatment of your ex-girlfriend, dumping her for her weight issue, and seeing that your wife was not slim, makes me wonder if you cheated on her while you were married,” they write.
Despite all the hate he is getting, he is still moving forward with his wedding in January. The wedding will be televised so fans can follow along. However, initially having a televised wedding was not the plan.
It will be interesting to see how the views turn out for the big day with Gerry getting comments like this.

I really liked him and admired him during the show, but after reading all of the letters and comments about him, I’ve chainged my opinion of him. I think he is a phony and not a man to be trusted. Poor Teresa is so blinded by love for him and all of his BS that comes out of his mouth that she won’t get a pre nup written up. Protect yourself Teresa.
Yes, please just get a pre-nup. He’s creepy and there’s something deeply disingenuous about him.
After the articles I have read about him, I am just not sure he is trustworthy. Hope Teresa knows what she is getting into and is being careful.

Grief is an odd part of life that hits everyone in a different way. Some never want to marry again. Some can’t stand the loneliness and need someone in their life. Children are great but you can’t talk to a child like you would with a spouse. All the haters are seeing things in their own bubble of belief. When you see someone such as a weight issue and worry about the health and they don’t try to change? Do you stay? You aren’t married and there may have been other issues. No one truly knows what happens in a relationship except the two living it. Believe nothing you read without facts and half of what you see. I sincerely hope they live happily. They are at least getting married and giving it a try. Life is short. Be happy for those around you and judge not.
He had been a widower for several years. That was never the issue. It is that he was portrayed as not dating all those years and it came out that he had dated just a month after his wife died. If it was the show that wanted a certain image of him i.e. long time widower who was finally ready to find love again, retired restaurant owner, etc. He should have set that straight. He was portrayed totally differently than the actual facts and at some point that should have been something he should have said, “Wait! This storyline is not factual.” It was on him to set the record straight. He didn’t. That makes him appear to be a cad.
