Golden Bachelor Ended With  No Bachelorette Announced

Season 1 of the new ABC show ended up with furious fans after Gerry Turner told more than one woman that he loved them. While viewers disapproved, of that, a Bachelorette still seemed possible. however, an ex dumped a different side of the sweet old man who lost his wife. Now, many people seem convinced that he’s a nasty old man, and his choice, Theresa Nist should run for the hills.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote about a woman who they named “Carolyn.” Instead of calling him a lovely person, she claimed a lot of bad things about her ex. Typically, it came out at the end of the season when ratings had rocketed. If it had arrived while it still played out, then people like Leslie Fhima might have stepped away. However, she ended up with her heart broken.

Gerry Turner Ruined Things For The Bachelorette?

Leslie Fhima and Faith Martin were thought to be potential candidates for the spinoff.  In fact, some fans believed that Faith dropped some clues that she would be the one. In early November, Jesse Palmer, the host of The Golden Bachelor admitted that both The Golden Bachelorette and a Bachelor in Paradise show would be a nice idea. However, he couldn’t make the decision. Ever since then, fans waited for news that at least one of the shows would happen. However, hope sinks after an insider spoke with Life and Style. They claimed that the woman who alleged nasty things about Gerry Turner canned any consideration for the show to happen.

No Spinoff?

Perhaps Bachelor Nation fans should not panic just yet. After all, a scandal doesn’t ever hurt the ratings. Just because Gerry might not be the man they hoped, for, it’s unlikely that a successful season would put any spinoff in danger. If they are slow to bring the show out, it could revolve around the fact that there might be some difficulty finding dozens of male contestants who are older than 60 and looking for love.

While being on reality TV might appeal to younger people, more people in their later years might resist that. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below. And, come back here for all your news about The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette.
