Gerry Turner is sharing his thoughts on whether the franchise should have a spinoff with the female lead. Plus, does he have a favorite lady in mind for the job? Gerry Turner shares thoughts on Golden Bachelorette
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is sharing if he thinks ABC should have a Golden Bachelorette after the success of his own season. People shared what Gerry had to say. He said he would be “wholeheartedly in favor” of having a Golden Bachelorette.
He went on to say that he has no say in whether or not it happens. Gerry wanted to be sure fans knew that. He said, “I have no say in it, just to be clear, but I think it would be exciting because it’s going to continue the theme that we’ve started of being hopeful and being visible at our age. So hopefully it happens.”
While he wants to see the female version, Gerry would not want to single out just one of his ladies to be the first lead. He started his own season with 22 lovely women. He said there was no way he could single just one out. Gerry said, “Each one of them has a certain personality that would make a show interesting and charm, and they’re all intelligent, so there’s no bad choice.”
Several of his ladies would not turn down the role
There are several of Gerry Turner’s ladies who would not turn down the role of a lifetime. Many have expressed their desire to be the first-ever Golden Bachelorette.
In fact, one of Gerry’s latest broken-hearted ladies has said she would not turn down the role either. Faith Martin was sent home disappointed after Gerry sent her home following hometown dates.
However, time heals all wounds as the saying goes and she is ready to get back out there. Being on the show has shown Faith that it is never too late to fall in love. She said,
It’s like they’re matchmaking gods or something because how do they put so many people in a situation where they are compatible and can find those feelings and actually find love on their shows? I mean, they’re really good at what they do. So I would’ve never believed that the process could work, but it does.
