Why do fans think that Mama June Shannon and her daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird, are at each other’s throats? The two have not had the best past and now, things may be rocky again. Keep in mind that Pumpkin was doused with responsibility when she had to raise her younger sister, Alana Thompson. That was during June’s substance abuse days. Pumpkin was the one who played the role of “mother” when Mama June could not do it. Now, with Anna Cardwell having passed, June has custody of her eldest daughter, Kaitlyn. Could this be causing tension between June and Pumpkin? Or, could it be June’s negligence toward Pumpkin’s children that fans have noticed? Maybe it is one of the countless other things that have been brought up regarding Josh and how he speaks to children, including Kaitlyn. Nope, it is involving branding and money.

Yes, Pumpkin is very active in her partnership with the company and it probably helps keep her family afloat. She was probably not too thrilled to hear her mother downing them in any capacity.

Clearly, there were two sides to Mama June calling out the company. On the one hand, fans did believe that they were going to be their own downfall. The family cannot stay off social media or stop promoting products, even when they should be grieving a significant loss. However, others have tried this brand and agree it is not that amazing. Therefore, June speaking the truth, they have to respect that as they rarely believe anything she says. At the same time, if this brings her daughter a profit, maybe she should keep her mouth shut on this one.
