Welcome To Plathville fans saw a very sad and unhappy Ethan Plath in Season 5 on TLC. He decided he was “done” with Olivia Plath, but the reality TV star manages to smile again at the moment. What was it that turned his frown upside down? Read on to find out.
TLC Star Ethan Plath Gave Up On Olivia Plath
Welcome To Plathville fans were a bit shocked when photos revealed that someone who looked very much like Kim and Barry Plath’s oldest son was dancing with a mystery woman. The pictures arrived in September when a lot of people speculated that the couple divorced. Olivia denied it, but inevitably, the sad scenes became worse until they finally threw in the towel.
Since he split from Olivia Meggs Plath, Ethan Plath seems to have gotten himself a life again. He hangs out with new friends and socializes for the first time. In fact, because he was homeschooled, he did not seem to have many friends. So, a few smiles started coming along. However, he now beams with happiness. What caused that? Did he get back with Olivia?

Welcome To Plathville: Smiling Like A Cheshire Cat
The TLC star was smiling widely in three photos that he shared on Instagram this weekend. In two photos, he posed near some old classic cars. As he’s been a mechanic for most of his life, cars give him great joy. In another photo, he stood next to a massive machine. In his caption, he said:
I went to The Henry Ford museum in Detroit a few weeks ago and that made me smile! I enjoyed every moment of it! The Duesenberg was my favorite ❤️ I can only hope to own one some day!
Ethan Plath is always happy near cars, and Welcome To Plathville fans have seen his real, happiness when he’s with them. Unfortunately, Olivia Plath didn’t seem so keen on cars. Fans like to see the TLC star smiling, so they took to the comments section of the post.
