‘AGT’ Simon Cowell Shocks With New Look, Why The Major Change?

Recently, America’s Got Talent judge, Simon Cowell is getting some mixed criticism about his newest look. While some fans seem to like the change, others are voicing how shocked they are by it. But Simon is sticking to his choice and has plenty to say about why he made the change.

Simon Cowell Takes The Red Carpet With A New Look

On Wednesday, Simon Cowell was seen on the red carpet for America’s Got Talent Fantasy League in Los Angeles, CA. As the judge entered the red carpet, he was dressed casually in a long-sleeved blue shirt and jeans. But Simon shook up his appearance with a new accessory. Quickly, fans noticed that he had new shades to walk his way into the newest AGT spinoff premiere.

America’s Got Talent Fantasy League

In the newest spinoff, AGT judges, including Simon Cowell, get to choose their favorite acts to compete in their fantasy teams. Notably, this is the first time the judges will also compete alongside the contestants. Specifically, each judge will build their team with ten acts to go head to head with the others. Also, the Golden Buzzer allows each judge to send their act straight to the finals or, alternately, they can steal an act from another team. And, the audience will also vote weekly on their favorite acts to determine who will advance to the finals.

Star Struck Or Star Shocked?

Straightaway, Simon Cowell is stopped on the carpet to answer a question about his new sunglasses. Notably, the interviewer says, “Let me ask you about the glasses.” Then pausing, he continues, “Because they have divided opinions on social.” Simon responds, “Okay.” And the interviewer continues, “I think they are awesome. But there must be a story.” At this point, Simon removes them and tells him to look through them. At first, he didn’t want to, but Simon convinced him he would understand once he saw through them.

Then, holding them up for the camera to see through, fans could see the red tint. Jokingly, Simon Cowell answers, “Everything looks better.” Additionally, telling the person, “You look amazing.” But he elaborates, “And you know what, it cuts out all the blue light on computers and iPads. I have lights in my face when I am filming so this cuts out a lot of that.” Additionally, he notes that “They work.”

Not only does Simon Cowell seem to like his new look, but it is purposeful as well.
