Jesse Palmer Is A Better Host Than Chris Harrison?
Jesse Palmer recently hosted the Women Tell All for The Golden Bachelor and ABC fans loved his reaction to Ellen Goltzer. Since then, Bachelor Nation fans have thought Jesse is a better host than Chris Harrison. Gerry Turner sent Ellen away and she felt a bit sad about it. However, the emotions surfaced when she talked about her friend, Roberta who passed away before the show aired. And, fans can only say good things about Jesse’s reaction.
Jesse Palmer Replaced Chris Harrison
In 2021, the initial reaction to Chris leaving the franchise was shock and dismay. In fact, a lot of viewers claimed they’d never watch it again. For them, Chris Harrison was Bachelor Nation And anyway, Who was Jesse? He’d been in Season 5 of The Bachelor which aired in 2004. Out of sight and out of mind, most people forgot he even existed.
Jesse Palmer first hosted the show when Clayton Echard appeared on The Bachelor. While die-hard fans of Chris Harrison still clutched their tear-stained pearls in the hope that he would return, that never happened. However, the new host seemed to do well, and eventually, he was accepted.

Jesse Palmer Won Hearts On Golden Bachelor Women Tell All
When Ellen spoke about her friend, Roberta who died, her heartbreaking story brought tears to Jesse’s eyes. Notably, tears are not something that rolled down the face of Chris Harrison. On Reddit, an OP wrote:
Can I just say… Chris Harrison would NEVER cry like Jesse did while Ellen told her story about her and Roberta??? It just really proves how earnest Jesse is as a person and as a host. I don’t think i’ve ever seen a TV host shed tears like that before and it was endearing.
Did other Golden Bachelor fans agree? Well, you might be surprised:
- I was thinking this the entire time too. Chris Harrison would never.
- I gotta say that Jesse really does seem like he cares. I’m not saying Chris Harrison is a terrible person, I just think that Chris just saw it as a job and that’s it. Jesse really cares and it shows.
- I felt the same, the entire Tell All was a tear-jerker, and Jesse was sensitive and attentive. He’s really coming into his own as the host.
- I was skeptical at first but I’m a believer now. He was an excellent choice.
