Ellen Goltzer Reveals If ‘Golden Bachelor’ Elimination Shocked Her
Ellen Goltzer was sent home on Thursday night after Gerry Turner decided she wasn’t the one. In fact, The Golden Bachelor had to eliminate three of the women Thursday which leaves only three remaining. Those final three will be getting hometown dates with Gerry. As for Ellen, she seemed to be a good fit for Gerry and fans loved her. Was she as shocked as America when Gerry didn’t give her a rose?
Was Ellen Goltzer shocked at her elimination on The Golden Bachelor?
Ellen Goltzer revealed if she was shocked at her elimination on The Golden Bachelor. She spoke with Entertainment Tonight and revealed her thoughts. She was asked many questions and one was whether or not Gerry Turner sending her home was a shock.
Ellen said she was very shocked. Just the week before she told Gerry she was falling in love with him. She felt their connection was strong. However as it turns out Gerry’s feelings were just stronger for the three finalists.
So, when her name was not called to receive a rose she was somewhat blindsided by being sent home.
When Gerry walked her out of the mansion, she didn’t really want an explanation from him. Instead she quickly got into the SUV and left. When asked about that later she revealed that she would not have done that part differently. Ellen said him not giving her a rose was her answer and that was all she needed to know.
When she left she shared that she did feel love and compassion from the other women there.
What does the future hold and who will Gerry choose?
Ellen Goltzer was also asked about the future and if she would ever want to role of The Golden Bachelorette. She didn’t really answer the question. Instead she noted that her dear friend Roberta who passed away in September taught her to live life in the moment and not look too far ahead. So, she said she will deal with whatever is thrown her way when it happens.
As far as who she thinks Gerry will chose to give his final rose to, Ellen shared her thoughts. She said that originally she thought there was a really strong bond between Gerry and Theresa. However, she changed her mind and now thinks that Leslie will be Gerry’s final choice.
