Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell just revealed she has a new man in her life. She appeared on the The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast where she shared that she is definitely only seeing one human. She has been with him for four months now.
Carly also revealed that her new beau is older than her and owns a small business. She said, “He’s literally everything I’ve ever wanted in a human.”
Things seem to be moving in a serious direction. Carly has already introduced him to her children. Of course, fans know her two children are hers with ex-husband Evan Bass.
She seems very smitten with her new man. Carly said, “It’s so great to have him around when craziness is happening in my life.” He’s very supportive of her and she thinks he’s really a great person.
How did they meet?
Carly Waddell shared that she actually saw her boyfriend on a local TV show. So, she followed him on Instagram. They liked each other’s posts some before she finally reached out to him.
She even said he refers to himself as old school and wants to talk on the phone rather than chat online.
When he took her out for the first time, she said it was incredible. Carly said, “Our first date … I called my mom and was like, ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen with this man but I will measure up every first date to what that was.’ It was just unbelievable.”
Carly admits now that time has passed she knows that her divorce from Evan was for the best. She and him are both moving on. They will forever be friends and continue to work together to be the best parents to their two children.
Hopefully, Carly will introduce her boyfriend to her fans soon. Right now, she’s keeping him as private as possible for as long as she can.
