Nobody wants to be woken up in the middle of the night by a knock on the front door. This is precisely what happened to Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell over the weekend. She went to Instagram Stories to share her terrifying experience. What happened?

Carly shared that a police officer knocked on her door at 11:45 PM. She said it woke her up and that the officer was looking for a runaway girl. The girl’s phone had apparently last pinged at Carly’s house. Carly of course does not know the girl nor does she know her whereabouts.

She went on to say, “So if ur wondering if I’ll ever sleep again being woken up like that and now worried about a missing girl u are correct I will not.” Carly concluded by saying, “Now I’m just shaking. That was so scary.”

Since posting that, Carly has not given any other updates or if she’s learned anything new about the missing girl.

What else has Carly been up to?

Aside from being woken up in the middle of the night by the police knocking on her door, Carly has been enjoying the release of her new album. Just three days ago Carly shared the release of her third single. She said, “Ahhhh my third single release is finally here!!! Can’t believe you guys can finally enjoy 1/2 my EP! This song Just Work is a favorite among my friends and family. It’s one of those feels-good songs about those relationships that “just work” and check off all the right boxes. It’s also a song that makes me believe in real love ❤️”

Her first single really got the attention of fans because they felt like she was slamming her ex-husband Evan Bass. The song was about a person’s friends liking their ex more than them.

Carly spoke out and denied that the song had anything to do with Evan. She said it was simply a fun, upbeat song that she just enjoyed.
