‘Fixer Upper’ Chip Gaines Gets Ripped, Dog Lovers Furious
Fan favorites Chip and Joanna Gaines became popular on HGTV’s Fixer Upper. The couple has many adoring fans but right now some fans are not happy with Chip. Since the return of the show after a long hiatus, fans were happy to see them in the revived series on Magnolia Network. So, why are they angry with Chip Gaines right now? Read on and find out.

Fixer Upper Chip The couple lives well, because of Joanna’s experience as a designer, and her husband’s work as a contractor. Of course, they made lots of money renovating homes because they also got paid by the HGTV network. So, they reportedly have a whopping $50 million combined net worth in 2023.
Fans of Chip Gaines always believed that the Magnolia project was their first baby. This year, they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the forerunner of their media empire. However, they do raise five human kids, Drake 19, Duke 15, Crew 5, Ella Rose 16, and Emmie Kay 13. The fury came when Crew’s dad posted a photo of him with the dog.

Fixer Upper Chip Gaines Fires Up Rage
The photo that got so much rage this week, revealed a rural home scene with the hashtag, “#farmlife.” Recently, on Instagram, a lot of people got upset over a photo of the dogs. In his caption, Crew’s dad wrote, “A boy and his pony… I mean dog.” In the photo, the dogs lay on the porch while Crew sat perched on one of them while he played with his gaming console. If you don’t know, the dog that Crew sat on is a Great Pyrenees, a large breed. However, the photo set fans off and they raged about it.
Chip Gaines found many critics and here’s a sample of some of the furious comments from dog lovers:
It’s not ok to sit on a dog. It’s great that he has good buds to hang out with but you have to respect the pup.
Typically I’m not the one to judge, provide criticism or parent shame from behind the keyboard, but this pictures just not right. At no point should a child be sitting on their dog. Sorry😢.

Plenty more critics had their say but some people defended Crew’s dad.
In Defense
Chip Gaines has some supporters who saw nothing wrong in Crew perched on the pup. One of them opined, “It’s a Great Pyrenees, they are amazing with kids! And the dog is obviously eating something, I mean look at the drool. Glad some of these folks aren’t detectives 😆 🤦🏼♀️.”
Another one wrote, “I own a Pyrenees and they are massive. The dog looks fine and was probably chewing on something. Crew is pretty little and the dog does not look in discomfort. All you people crying about a nice pic. 😂.”

we have big dogs and little kids, and I can tell you these ragers are ridiculous- if a big dog doesn’t like you sitting on him, he will guaranteed get off and knock the kid off. Big dogs are tough and love little kids immensely.
