‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Breaks Silence On Christine Dating

In the present day, fans know that Christine is engaged to David Woolley. Kody hasn’t exactly been thrilled about the relationship but has kept his feelings to himself so far.
Now that Season 18 is here, fans will finally get a chance to see how Kody reacts to other men in Christne’s new life. New footage released ahead of this weekend’s episode reveals his initial reaction.

Kody Brown discusses jealous feelings with his pals
In the earlier seasons of Sister Wives, Kody Brown routinely hung out with friends. But the show hasn’t covered any friend group hangouts in recent years. Us Weekly received access to a new clip that reveals boys’ night is back on the table.
And some surprising information is going to come to the surface this week.
While out with his friends, Kody Brown feels comfortable sharing his true feelings about the breakup with Christine. He thinks he’s going to feel weird and jealous when she finally moves on.
“I feel betrayed, no doubt,” the family patriarch reveals in a confessional. “But I’m also like, ‘Have a good life.’ I mean, what can I do? I’m not gonna be bothered when another guy is in her life … I don’t think.”
In a shocking display of humility, Kody also confesses to his friends that he realized when he made his biggest mistake in their marriage.
“My mistake was when she was saying, ‘I hate polygamy,’ I was going, ‘What the hell? You wouldn’t have a family, you wouldn’t have me, you wouldn’t have our children.’ Instead of saying, ‘I know it’s hard, baby, I’m sorry. I love you and I wish it didn’t hurt,” he reveals.
Christine Brown may see things a little differently
Kody Brown may believe this specific situation fractured the marriage, but Christine has some opinions of her own.
Christine has previously offered many reasons for the deteriorating relationship. Ysabel’s spine surgery seemed to have been an extremely dividing point in the marriage. On top of that, Christine definitely doesn’t appreciate how Kody neglects most of his children in favor of Robyn’s.
Kody still seems a little blindsided by Christine’s departure. But most Sister Wives fans agree it was only a matter of time before the family dynamic completely crumbled.
