Many Sister Wives fans already think Kody Brown is an absentee father — but is David Woolley completely taking over?
After David and Christine went public with their relationship, they both started sharing photos of heartwarming family bonding experiences. Almost immediately, David seemed to form a strong fatherly bond with Christine’s kids — especially the youngest ones.
So is David fully taking over for Kody now?
David Woolley bonds with Christine’s girls on a fun family outing
Now that Christine Brown has moved on, fans have noticed she’s so much happier these days. David Woolley seems to fill her days with happiness and fun.
And after a recent Disneyland trip, it seems like he’s being a great father figure to her children too.
“Had a BLAST in California Adventure and Disneyland! Club 33 was awesome!” Christine captioned a recent Instagram upload. It appears that she and David took Truely and Ysabel to the park for some quality family time. The TLC star attached several exciting photos for the day with the girls beaming from ear to ear.
Although Sister Wives fans were delighted to see the group having fun, they couldn’t help but notice something. In these photos, David Woolley is clearly stepping up and taking over Kody’s role as a father.
“Eat your heart out Kody! Your dream now is someone else’s reality,” one fired-up fan wrote in the comments. “So happy for you, Christine. You’re finally getting what you deserve!!!! Hoping Kody loses sleep seeing another man loving his daughters like his own. Way to go!”
“Love seeing you and your girls being loved the way you deserve 💗” another fan added in the comments.
Over time, many Sister Wives fans believed that Kody Brown simply had too many kids to give each of them much-deserved quality time. But in more recent years, he really just seems laser-focused on being a great father to Robyn’s kids.
After being treated poorly for years, it’s really not surprising to many that Ysabel and Truely would so quickly bond with David.
Will fans hear wedding bells anytime soon?
Now that Sister Wives fans know that Christine Brown and David Woolley plan to marry, they’re eager to hear all about the wedding. So far, the couple hasn’t said much about their plans.
However, if David is going to join the Sister Wives cast, it makes sense that TLC would want to film it for the show. Right now, TLC is likely working closely with David and Christine to hammer out all the details.
Fans may have to wait a bit longer for answers, but there will more than likely be some sort of exciting televised event.
