Christine Brown Breaks Silence On What Ended Marriage To Kody
Christine Brown was the first Sister Wives star to end her marriage with Kody Brown. That played out last season on the show. This season, Kody loses two more wives. She was clear that she wanted out and this weekend on Sister Wives, Christine finally reveals what ended their marriage on the next Sister Wives episode.

This Sunday on Sister Wives, Christine Brown’s reason her marriage with Kody Brown ended was revealed. In this week’s preview, Kody is talking to three of his friends about polygamy and he spilled something that Christine told him that really showed why their marriage was never going to work out.
Kody was with three of his friends on a guy’s night. These are moments when Kody said he needed to get away from his wives for at least one night a week to spend time with his other friends. Robyn calls it his “guy time” and Janelle refers to these nights as “Testosterone Tuesday.” She said these moments happened a lot when they lived in Utah. On this particular night, Kody was talking about Christine.
In an exclusive preview published by US Weekly Kody said that there was one time he was talking to Christine about their problems and she proclaimed that “she hated polygamy.” He said this was the “disconnect situation” and he didn’t respond very well to the comment from his then-wife. Kody then said he made things worse. He said he should have told her that he knows it is hard and he loves her and wishes it didn’t hurt. Instead, he lashed out at her and said, “What the hell? You wouldn’t have a family, you wouldn’t have me, you wouldn’t have our children.”
Christine Brown seems in a better place on Sister Wives
For Christine Brown, she seems to be in a much better place right now. In the current season, Christine is the only wife who has left, but fans know that Meri and Janelle are both on their way out the door as well. Christine is there for her former Sister Wives, but she seems to be the only one smiling right now. That is likely because she put this relationship behind her.
Christine is now engaged to David Woolley, who proposed to her earlier this year. This came just over a year after Christine announced she was leaving Kody in November 2021. Despite ending their spiritual marriage, Christine is still part of the Sister Wives show and is there as a support tool for Kody’s remaining wives.
