Christine & Janelle Brown Break Silence About Discord Among Their Kids
Robyn Brown keeps harping on the idea of how she always imagined her and her sister wives on the porch. They would be watching the kids and their grandkids playing outside like the ladies at their church. Unfortunately, she claims this dream has been ripped from her. However, she and husband, Kody Brown constantly tried to claim their five kids were separated from the other children, causing hurt. As it turns out, this discord that Kody and Robyn try to play out on Sister Wives is not entirely true. Maybe it is true for the adults but the kids try to make things work as much as they can.
More so, there was even a segment in episode 2 of Season 18 where the eldest child, Logan Brown wanted to arrange a gift exchange among the kids. Somehow, Robyn got involved and it just became a mess with a lot of lingering feelings of frustration. Now, Christine and Janelle are speaking to People about their kids and their relationships. They started by addressing the fact that none of their kids want to live polygamy. Yet, Janelle Brown admits that she and Kody did have a plan for how they would raise their children.
“We had this vision that the children would be raised together as siblings, and we tried living in one house as long as we could until we didn’t fit anymore. We were really about that dream. That big picture was our dream,” she shared. Furthermore, she maintains that there are no problems between the children, even Robyn’s. “The kids are all the same. The kids still are the kids. They all interact, and I interact with the kids the same as I always did. The kids all really feel like their siblings.”
But The Adults…
At this point, it seems that the kids all can handle getting along quite well. Additionally, Meri Brown’s only child with Kody, Leon Brown has participated in family functions recently. So, the real discord is amongst the adults. Janelle Brown revealed that she and Christine, as fans know, are still very close. They still consider themselves sister wives. However, when it comes to Robyn, Meri, and Kody, they are more cordial than anything. As for Christine, she admits things are not perfect right now but is hopeful it can change down the line.
