On Sunday, US Magazine released an interview with Lacey Chabert about her upcoming movie The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango. In this movie, she is once again reunited with her Christmas Waltz co-star Will Kemp. This is a fan-favorite pairing. Could Will be her favorite Hallmark hunk to work with?
The Wedding Veil star was very diplomatic with her answer. “Oh my gosh, I think it would be terrible to pick a favorite because they’re all dear friends of mine.”
She then continued, “We really are like a little family.” Lacey also added how the Hallmark stars are all friends on and off-screen. “Honestly, we’re all very close. We’re very supportive of each other. And when you work at one place for so long, you feel like you become part of a family.”
Any Hallmark fan who follows the network’s stars sees the support in social media posts. Also, a lot of the stars get together if they are all filming in the same city and share photos. This is how Benjamin Ayres’ altruistic Romance University was born.

Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp’s new movie The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango premieres on Friday, June 2, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
She portrays a strait-laced detective who has to solve a murder at a competitive dance event. However, she does not know how to dance. In comes dance instructor Sebastian Moore, who is also a keen armchair detective. They must learn to trust each other on the dance floor, as well as uncover a killer.
This mystery movie idea was developed by Will, and the Groundswell star was “thrilled when he asked me to be a part of this project.” Filmed in beautiful Malta, Lacey calls this an “adventure story.” You don’t want to miss it!
