Hallmark fans who are engaged in social media may want to know more about Benjamin Ayres’ new project Romance University. Ayres, who stars with Alison Sweeney in the Chronicle Mysteries, and most recently with Taylor Cole in Long Lost Christmas has started an altruistic project that helps others.

This Is What Romance University Is About
Hallmark fans may have noticed a lot of their fan favorites are hanging with Benjamin Ayres and wearing attire that says “Romance University.” What is this?
According to the official Romance University official website, this is Benjamin Ayres’ brainchild. More so, he has designed the shirts and they are “intended to be worn with love.” This is “A general store for alumni.”
Their tagline is: “Big city woman moves to small town and finds cozy comfort in an oversized hoodie.”
The shop includes a cornucopia of t-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, sweat pants, mugs, tumblers, candles, pins, storage boxes, pet feeding mats, pet tags, outdoor rugs, laptop sleeves, journals, and even poker cards with the original charming logo.
Ben Ayres Created Romance University To Help Women
The purpose of this project is to donate all proceeds to women’s charities. According to an Instagram Live with Kristoffer Polaha, this brainchild occurred when the two Hallmark hunks met up with Nikki DeLoach, Andrew Walker, and Michael Rady in Vancouver. They were all filming movies at that time.
Benjamin had made a logo inspired by Harvard University’s log. He replaced the name with “Hallmark University.” He made these into pins and at that dinner, he shared pins with his fellow thespians.
Afterward, he shared his idea, and the response was positive. Next, he brought these pins and some sweatshirts to Christmas Con and it was a huge hit.
However, Ayres made a few changes. First, he changed the name to “Romance University.” This allows fans of all romcom networks to feel included.
Next, he expanded the selection of merchandise. Boom! This was a huge hit. Therefore, it turns out that romcom fans want more merch.
Benjamin Ayres Donates Thousands Of Dollars To Charities
According to his Instagram, the Romance University profits reached over $4,000. Therefore, Benjamin and his wife Erin went to two Toronto-based shelters to give them donations.
Firstly, he revealed that it was his birthday. Next, Ayers revealed that his “dream come true” allowed them to give donations to Street Haven, and Anduhyaun. The first is an emergency shelter, and the latter is the “oldest indigenous women’s shelter in Canada.”
Moreover, this is just the beginning. This has become a successful venture that promises to help more women. In addition, Benjamin promises that they will spread the donations to more deserving organizations.
