At the age of 52, the Indianapolis native Steve Burton has spent most of his career as a staple in the daytime soaps world. According to IMDb, the actor has 31 credits to his name with the bulk of them being daytime soap operas and a voice actor in several Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts video games.
Over the years, Steve Burton has been part of the cast for General Hospital, Days Of Our Lives, and The Young and the Restless. He even had a role in the 2001 thrilled film called The Last Castle.
Air date for his return to Days Of Our Lives revealed
Turns out, Steve Burton recently sat down with Bradford Anderson (General Hospital) on the latest episode of a podcast called That’s Awesome. During their conversation, Steve affirmed that he would finally be returning to DOOL to step back into the role of Harris Michaels. Moreover, his return to Days Of Our Lives already had an air date. And, it was just around the corner.
Steve Burton admitted that he thought his character was slated to return on March 16th. But, it was actually March 20th that he would be returning as a member of the Days Of Our Lives cast. So, he encouraged those listening to the podcast to “mark their calendars” as March 20th was sure to be an exciting episode with him on the cast list again!
So set your calendar. Peacock! March 20th! It’s going to be fun. Finally the time has come!

According to She Knows Soaps, the details of his return to Days Of Our Lives are pretty nonexistent at this point in time. The outlet speculated, “we knew he’d somehow be tied to Bo and Hope’s return and would be mixed up with Marlena, John, Kayla and Steve.”
Steve Burton’s character’s return is linked to the return of Megan Hathaway made sense because his character was last spotted doing dirty work for her from prison.
Naturally, Steve Burton’s return leaves fans with so many questions. For starters, has he been in touch with Hope? Does he have any knowledge about Megan’s kidnapping plot and will he be involved in it? Time will tell as he makes his return in just a few weeks!
