Days Of Our Lives: Cody Longo Found Dead At 34

Cody Longo, who was both an actor and a musician, was found dead at the age of 34. Speaking to TMZ, a family member confirms Cody was found dead in bed. According to the family member, his wife Stephanie called the please after she began to feel uneasy by her inability to get ahold of her husband.

After arriving at the Austin, Texas home, police kicked in the door after they were unable to get the 34-year-old to respond. Unfortunately, police found Cody dead in bed.

Presently, an official cause of death has not been made public. His family, however, was well aware of the fact that he battled alcohol addiction for years. He even went to rehab over the summer. The family member told TMZ they believe relapse and his addiction were contributing factors to his death.

A Closer Look At His Career

Being just 34 years old, Cody Longo only had 13 years and 33 acting credits on his name. One of his most notable credits was the role of Nicholas Almain in Days Of Our Lives for eight episodes. He, however, had roles in several other movies and TV shows including:

  • The Catch
  • CSI
  • Nashville
  • 48 Hours to Live

What most people will remember the actor for, however, was his role as Eddie Duran for 78 episodes of Hollywood Heights.

His bio on IMDb also reports he had three products in pre-production. Unfortunately, there was not much information available about these three projects.

In addition to his wife, he also leaves behind three children including a seven-year-old daughter, a five-year-old son, and a one-year-old son.

His wife Stephanie tells TMZ her husband was working hard on himself so he could be a better man for his children. “He was an amazing father and the best husband. Our whole world is shattered.”

Rest in peace, Cody Longo.
