Days Of Our Lives actor Mark Miller was confirmed dead at the age of 97 by his daughter, Penelope Ann Miller. Following in her late father’s footsteps, Penelope also has a career in acting. Mark Miller was known best for his roles in Guestward, Ho! and Please Don’t Eat The Daises. In addition to being a prolific actor, Mark Miller was also a screenwriter. Penelope Ann Miller took to Twitter last night to confirm her father passed away on September 9, 2022. The actress shared an old photo of herself as a child with her father. She penned a beautiful tribute as she mourned his passing.

She penned: “He loved deeply & was loved by all who knew him. He touched many lives. He was funny, fun, & always creating. He cherished this life and saw the glass half full! I was blessed to call him my dad.”

Maureen McCormick, known best for her role as Marcia Brady in the television series The Brady Bunch which aired from 1969 to 1974, penned a beautiful tribute to Penelope and her father.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your father. I had no idea that he was your Papa till now. He was a class act and I was such a fan of his work. Sending you my deepest condolences and love.”

Outside of confirming Mark Miller was dead, Penelope’s post did not reveal any details surrounding her father’s cause of death. Considering the actor and screenwriter was 97 at the time of his passing, most of his fans assume he may have died of an ailment related to old age.

He had a prolific career as an actor

Mark Miller was well-known for his role as college professor Jim Nash in the series Please Don’t Eat The Daisies. The series originally ran from 1965 to 1967. The late actor also had several other noteworthy roles during his career including a role in Guestward Ho! during the 60s.

Mark Miller also dabbled as a soap star. He appeared as J.R. Barnett in 13 episodes of Days Of Our Lives. He also played the role of Howard Jones for 13 episodes in NBC’s Bright Promise. He even landed a small role for two episodes of General Hospital back in 1965.

Fans of both Mark Miller and his daughter Penelope are devastated to learn he is dead.
