John Aniston’s Last ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Appearance Date Revealed
John Aniston sadly passed away on November 11 at 89. However, he still has several episodes of Days of Our Lives in the can that will still air throughout the holidays. With that said, there is only a short amount of time for fans to see the longtime villain Victor Kiriakis on the popular soap opera.
Peacock has revealed the final appearance date for Aniston, and the streaming network has special plans for that episode.
When is John Aniston’s last appearance on Days of Our Lives?
According to Peacock, John Aniston’s last appearance on Days of Our Lives as Victor Kiriakis will air on Monday, December 26, 2022. Not only will that be Aniston’s last appearance on the show, but Peacock will air a special tribute to the actor that day as well.
This marks the end of an era for one of daytime soap’s greatest villains. John Aniston joined Days of Our Lives as Victor Kiriakis in 1985 and was a villain on the show for most of the last 37 years. Throughout his time on the show, he has committed several dastardly crimes that made life rough for the people of Salem.
He ran a drug and pornography ring early in his time on the show. Victor blackmailed several people over the years to get what he wanted. He attempted to murder Bo Brady more than once and paid others to hurt his enemies on other occasions. He even faked his own death to make it look like Bo was a murderer. Victor Kiriakis was the ultimate bad guy, second arguably to Stefano DiMera on Days.
“It is truly unimaginable to think he won’t be stepping foot on our set again, but it’s comforting to all of us to know that he is at rest and no longer in pain,” Days producer Ken Corday said in a statement. “John was an icon, but even more so, he was a pillar of strength and unity for our Days of our Lives community. He, along with our ‘Victor Kiriakis,’ will forever be in our hearts.”

John Aniston, whose daughter Jennifer Aniston became a major star in her own right, died unexpectedly at the age of 89. This came as a shock to fans who had just seen him on Days right before his daughter announced his passing. Jennifer never mentioned the cause of death, only that it occurred on November 11.
Aniston was an actor for six decades, and while he was best known for his role on Days of Our Lives, he had many more credits to his name. Before Days, he was a long-running cast member on the soap opera, Search for Tomorrow. He also made several appearances on other shows, including Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, Mad Men, and Star Trek: Voyager.
