History’s ‘Dirty Old Cars’ Is New Series For Classic Car Enthusiasts
History has announced its new show Dirty Old Cars. Fans of shows like American Pickers, Counting Cars, American Restoration, and Pawn Stars will want to check out this new series. This is a series about old, forgotten vehicles that get a new life. These neglected vehicles get an amazing transformation.

History Channel Announces Dirty Old Cars
History has a new show that its fans will want to tune into. This is called Dirty Old Cars. According to The Futon Critic, “Across America, under layers of dust, mold, and mud there are forgotten cars waiting years for someone to revisit their history and give them the one thing they need to get back on the road: a good bath.”
Some of these cars are completely unrecognizable. A little soap and water and they are transformed. The shop teams find cars, buy them, and maybe even flip them. But, first, they need to clean out the critters and polish up the vehicles.
Each half-hour episode follows two before and after vehicle transformations. Viewers are promised “jaw-dropping cleaning processes” that will wow viewers, who get to watch the process of transformation.
Who Stars In new History Series?
The vehicles found in Dirty Old Cars are from a cornucopia of detailing shops. They include Unique Classic Cars in Mankato, Minnesota, and Visual Perfection in Morgantown, North Carolina. Lastly, Marietta, Georgia’s Red’s Detail Co. is the third shop. Therefore, viewers get to know teams from each of these locations.
Moreover, they get to see a variety of vehicles because of the different locations. Cars in the far north will have different issues than cars that rarely experience snow.
Best of all, viewers get to see how each shop approaches the transformation of the found vehicles. Fans of the series may find that they prefer one shop over another. Lastly, we get to see what happens after the magical transformation.
When Does Dirty Old Cars Premiere?
The premiere of Dirty Old Cars is on Wednesday, January 18, at 10 p.m., and at 10:30 p.m., Eastern, on The History Channel. That means it is two episodes premiere night.
Afterward, there will be a half-hour show every Wednesday night at 10 p.m., Eastern.

I wish during the show they would tell you what products they use. These type of shows should be trying to help the ordinary guy.

Who repairs the engines, wiring harnesses, leaky shocks, and baffed suspension components in these 30 to 50 year- old cars? Engines neglected that long require repair; some are seized tight from badly deteriorated oil/sludge, clogged radiators, rotted wiring harnesses, and other electronic components.
I’ve seen some of the vehicles on the show being DRIVEN in and out of the cleaning bays. This makes no sense!
