Hallmark And Peacock End Streaming Relationship

On Tuesday, TV Line confirmed the news that has been in the rumor mill the past two months. Hallmark and Peacock are ending their partnership. For nearly three years, all content that aired on the Hallmark Channel and Mystery Channel was available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere. Sometimes, that content was available for many more days. Furthermore, Peacock offered a good selection of the feel-good network’s older movies and series to stream.

However, this partnership is now over. As of May 1, Peacock will no longer be streaming Hallmark movies and series. Originally, the Hallmark and Peacock relationship was announced on October 31, 2022. This was heavily promoted by the network executives. Moreover, shows like The Way Home found a larger and younger audience on Peacock. This was a good fit for the network during this time.

But, when the network announced the rebranded streaming channel Hallmark+ at the 2024 Summer TCAs, many prognosticators expected a change was imminent. Peacock was likely taking away business from the streaming channel. It no longer made sense for the network to send brand-new content to a third party. It seemed inevitable that this change was coming.

Now, Peacock subscribers have about a week to consume their favorite Hallmark series and movies. Or they can find a solution.

How Can Viewers Stream Movies And Series?

Now that the Hallmark and Peacock are no longer partners, where can fans watch movies and series? Viewers can watch everything on Hallmark+, the network’s streaming channel. That means all seasons of current series like When Calls The Heart, and The Way Home. This is also where all the 2024 Countdown To Christmas movies are available. Most importantly, every single movie that premieres on the OG channel or the Mystery channel is available the next day on H+.

Right now, subscribers can get the streaming channel for  $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year.  Subscribers get a $5 monthly Gold Crown coupon, unlimited eCards, a free custom greeting card every month, as well as bonus points for watching certain content.

However, those with a library card can check out Hallmark+ via the Hoopla Binge Pass. Library cardholders can check out one week at a time, and can be done multiple times each month.
