Did Hallmark Finally Decide To Renew ‘The Way Home’ Season 4?
The Way Home fans have waited for weeks for Hallmark to announce Season 4. After Hallmark jerked these devoted fans around by moving the multi-generational time-travel series to the streaming channel, and then moving it back to the OG, but to Friday nights, these dedicated fans were sending petitions and dominating social media sites trying to let the network they want more.
Now, there is news. What is the fate of The Way Home?
Hallmark Has Renewed The Way Home For Season 4
On Thursday, the eve of The Way Home Season 3 finale episode, Deadline reported that Hallmark has renewed the beloved time-travel series for Season 4. The Hallmark drama that stars Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Evan Williams, and Sadie Laflamme-Snow is returning for more romance, drama, and time travel. Late on Thursday, Andie and Chyler went to social media to share this news with the elated fan group.
Samantha DiPippo, the SVP of Programming at Hallmark Media shared the news. “Our talented writing staff led by the mother-daughter showrunning team of Heather Conkle and Alexandra Clarke continues to amaze us as they raise the bar each season.
Their carefully crafted storytelling has enthralled the show’s passionate fanbase and has made The Way Home appointment television.
This has been a long journey for this devoted fan group. Last year, Hallmark decided to premiere Season 3 to the newly branded streaming channel, Hallmark+. They were not going air it on the OG until late summer. That meant spoilers for those who cannot afford streaming.
This created a huge uproar. Moreover, this was a surprise move as the network had always premiered the series in January. Instead, they premiered When Calls The Heart in its place, and time slot. This was a move to continue to fill the streaming channel with content.
Eventually, the network backed down. But, instead of giving the series a Sunday night time slot before When Calls The Heart, they moved the time-travel drama to Friday nights, which did not garner great live ratings. Many fans expressed fear that these ratings were similar to Ride, which was canceled after one season. Therefore, this concerned fans. But, the series has always done well on Peacock. Now, it is presumed that the series also does well on Hallmark+, as new episodes are made available the next day.

When Will The Way Home Season 4 Premiere?
The Way Home Season 4 will premiere sometime in 2026. The stars are headed to Ontario in the near future to start filming this popular Hallmark series. The good news is that starting Saturday, fans can watch all three seasons on Hallmark+.
