The new American Pickers co-host shared his thoughts about this new season. He’s feeling good about the new season. Robbie took over for Frank Fritz, who was fired from the show. Over the weekend, he took to Instagram to promote the upcoming episode.

New episodes of American Pickers now air on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. This is a switch from its original timeslot, which was originally on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET. The show has been scrambling to find a new home on History Channel amid the decline in ratings.

“It’s gonna be a great episode!” Robbie wrote in his Instagram post. “Back on the road and pickin’ with @mikewolfeamericanpicker.”

Robbie shared a photo of himself alongside his brother Mike Wolfe. He wore a black fleece jacket with a shirt underneath, while Mike wore a red quilted jacket and sunglasses. Both of them were probably discussing what they were going to pick next.

American Pickers fans took to the comment section to react to the new episode. Most said they were looking forward to more. Robbie is trying to keep up the momentum since American Pickers is no longer the top show it once was.

Ratings for American Pickers continue to plummet

On Wednesday, January 4, American Pickers returned after its extended hiatus. Only 943,000 viewers tuned in for the Season 24 premiere, per SpoilerTV. They ratings went dramatically down from the Season 23 premiere, which aired in January 2022.

American Pickers went on a break around the summertime and returned in September with only 928,000 viewers. They witnessed their lowest-rated episodes since the show returned in July. Robbie’s Instagram post comes after Mike tried to hype up the series on his Instagram account.

He tried to attract viewers with Jack White. Once it aired, American Pickers fans accused Mike of making the musician look “uncool.” They didn’t like how it was focused on the rocker’s reclusiveness. This season is said to have some big-name celebrities.
