Jesse Metcalfe Is Reinventing His ‘Matinee Idol’ Image With ‘Edgier’ Roles
Jesse Metcalfe fans should expect a small pivot from the multi-talented actor. Speaking to KTLA Morning News host Sam Ruben, he revealed that after a “roller coaster ride” in 2022, he will be in three new movies in 2023. Moreover, they will be very different from his usual “matinee idol” fare.
Who wants to stay in the same place for their entire lives? We want our careers and our lives to progress and move forward.
Metcalfe, who has been in the business for over two decades with the soap Passions, in 1999, admits he is still learning about the business. Moreover, this is a decision that is close to his heart,

Next is On A Wing And A Prayer, starring Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. This sounds like an action thriller, as it is about “a passenger who unexpectedly has to fly a plane after the pilot dies.” Jesse seems proud of this one. “I’m really excited about that one, it’s just an amazing cast.”
The John Tucker Must Die star just completed filming The Comic Shop in Las Vegas.

Desperate Housewives Alum Is Now Single
Ten days before Christmas, People Magazine reported that Jesse Metcalfe had split with his girlfriend of two years, Corin Jamie-Lee Clark. A source close to the Dallas star revealed that Metcalfe had concluded that this relationship was not headed to the “next level.” This seems to reflect his recent statement about wanting life to “move forward.”
Although the news was announced a few days after his 44th birthday, fans who watched his social media may have noticed that since late July, the only woman he was hanging with was his mom in New England. This is in sharp contrast to Los Angeles, where he has been living the last two decades, or Miami, Florida, where he and Clark had recently relocated to.
