What Is Hallmark’s Five More Minutes Like This About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, Christmas is difficult for Kaitlyn (Williams). Her husband suddenly died on Christmas Eve. Therefore, Kaitlyn and her son Adam (Droulis) move from their Colorado home and head to Los Angeles for new beginnings.
Understandably, Kaitlyn is concerned about Adam. She is concerned she doesn’t have the skill to help him, now that he is withdrawn. Kaitlyn thinks that if her husband was still alive, he would know exactly what to do.
Kaitlyn wishes Adam just had five more minutes with his father.
Now, it is Christmas. Kaitlyn and Adam return to Colorado to spend the holidays with her late husband’s family. Moreover, she must deal with something very emotional. She needs to sell their family home.
In Colorado, Kaitlyn gets to know Matthew (Bryant). He is an old friend of her husband’s and he is a local contractor. A local developer has tasked Matthew to submit an offer for the property.
Now, Kaitlyn is at a crossroads. She needs to figure out what to do about the house, and what she should do next.
Soon, Kaitlyn tells Matthew that Adam is participating in some of the town’s Christmas festivities. In addition, Adam dreams up an idea of how they can raise funds for the local food bank.
“With big decisions to make that will affect Kaitlyn and Adam’s lives, the answers she needs come in an unexpected way.”
