Bachelor in Paradise couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt shocked fans when they went and had a courthouse wedding. Since they are planning a big ceremony for next September, many wondered if perhaps Serena was expecting a baby and that is why the couple wanted to tie the knot. Joe and Serena spoke out and addressed the rumors. So, is Serena pregnant?

E! Online shared what BIP newlyweds Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt had to say about if she is expecting. The couple went to YouTube to do a Q&A about their wedding.
One of the questions brought up was if Serena is pregnant. Joe said, “I’m not [pregnant].” Serena spoke up as well saying, “I’m not either.”
They both said they understand why fans may have speculated a baby was on the way. Serena said, “A lot of people did ask if I was pregnant, which I guess makes sense.” She continued, “People are wondering if we had a shotgun wedding because I’m pregnant. I’m not pregnant.”
Plus, Joe and Serena did admit that they had been planning the big day for three weeks. The only people that knew were their parents and siblings. Plus, the couple had Joe’s cohost and BIP alum Natasha Parker as their witness. Due to the pandemic, they were only allowed one person to be there with them.

Joe and Serena also said they wanted the courthouse wedding to be really lowkey. Now that their video is everywhere and the world knows she said she wishes they would have dressed up a bit more.
They were also asked about Serena changing her last name. Joe and Serena said that for now, she will remain Serena Pitt. Their plan is for her to change her last name after their big ceremony next September.
They are also choosing a different location than where they live or where they are from. Joe and Serena revealed they will have their big wedding in either Charleston, South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee or Austin, Texas.
Aside from picking a final destination they also still need to pick out wedding rings.
