‘Today’ Al Roker Unrecognizable In Rat Pack Costume

Al Roker was unrecognizable in his Rat Pack costume. Today Show fans couldn’t believe his transformation. On Monday’s Halloween broadcast, the co-hosts dressed up as various Las Vegas acts. While many of them were creative and put in a lot of effort into their costumes, fans couldn’t stop buzzing about the 68-year-old. Read on to learn more and see his costume for yourself.

Today Show dresses up as Las Vegas entertainment

The Today Show hosts had the same idea in mind. They dressed up as the Las Vegas entertainment acts. Sheneille Jones did a surprising dance routine as a showgirl. Willie Geist wore Elvis Presley’s iconic white jumpsuit from his Las Vegas show.

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb were dressed as Cirque du Soleil performers. Craig Melvin wore a costume inspired by Muhammad Ali. Carson Daly and Dylan Dryer went as David Copperfield and his assistant. Jenna Bush-Hager was dressed as Celine Dion and Peter Alexander and Kristen Welker were dressed as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

However, it was Al Roker who stole the most attention with his Halloween costume. He was dressed up as Sammy Davis Jr. from the old-school singing group, the Rat Pack. Al looked just like him. Al wore the signature black suit, bowtie, white button-down shirt, jewelry, and glasses that the famous singer wore during his lounge acts. The bald weatherman wore a wig to finish off the look.

He even busted out a tune for the fans at home. The Rat Pack included Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, and Sammy Davis Jr. They were known for their hit songs “The Candyman” and “Mr. Show Business.” Al Roker appeared on the screen as he lip-synched along to one of the songs. He held a fake microphone in his hand as he pretended to croon.

The Today Show took to Twitter to share a clip of Al Roker’s lip-syncing performance. Most of them agreed that he was unrecognizable. They thought they were watching an old clip of one of Sammy’s shows. Fans feel that he had the best costume out of the entire group.
