Fans Agree Kody Brown’s Dancing: The Embodiment Of Narcissism

If Sister Wives star Kody Brown could be described in one word, it would be ‘narcissist’. While TLC started filming his life in a plural marriage, he came across as a goofy man trying to do something new and odd. However, lately, he seems nothing less than a spawn of the devil himself. His condescending behavior has been very evident ever since Christine decided to part ways.

Kody Brown Justifies Skipping Ysabel’s Spine Surgery

The 53-year-old had issues attending to her daughter Ysabel’s spine surgery. He didn’t even have time to accompany her to the college. His reasoning: “A man can’t stay away from his family for so long.” Yet he is seen dancing like a Yeti on fire at his friend’s wedding.

Explaining why Kody is an embodiment of narcissism, psychologist Dr. David Colarossi said in a YouTube video, “You believe that that guy is so afraid of COVID that he’s unwilling to accompany his daughter to her back surgery. He is also unwilling to drive her off to school in a different state. And, he is frustrated with kids that want to return to school in person. That’s the same guy. This is the episode of Kody’s hypocrisy.”

Kody Turns The Table, Becomes The Wedding’s Highlight

David further describes how at the start Kody seems unwilling and least interested to attend and officiate his friends’ wedding. Kody always had a habit of seeking the limelight in any situation. And of course, at a wedding, someone who officiates it won’t be the highlight. Yet, somehow, Kody did make it more about himself and less about the couple getting married.

As he officiated the wedding, rather than talking about how the couple met, he says, “Dearly beloved, welcome! Brian and I have known each other for about 25 or so years and we’ve been dear friends for 10-15.”

“Are you nervous,” he asks the bride.

“A little bit,” she replied.

In his snobbish tone, he replies, “You should be, I am.”

As he continues, he keeps talking about himself stating, “If Brian and Judith would have ever heard me do a sermon, they would not have asked me to do this. I get extremely creative.”

Did Kody Brown Officiate His Friend’s Wedding For The Spotlight?

Explaining his behavior at the wedding, Dr. Colarossi said, “I think Kody got up there and he liked the spotlight. I think that’s why he likes to officiate. And he made that marriage more about the officiant than the people that were actually getting married.”

Even in his confessional, Kody admits that the best part of the wedding was introducing the bride and the groom. Dr. Colarassi further explained that Kody thinks that this marriage would be a strong one given that the bride is taking the husband’s name. So, she would be a submissive one, something he doesn’t get back at home with his independent wives.

He further explains Kody’s weird dance routine at the wedding and said, “If you had to embody narcissism in a dance that was it. Right! It’s this grandiose. He’s a single guy out there taking up so much space on the dance floor. And I don’t believe it was because it was just him in the center of the circle for a moment. I think that that is how he dances. Even when he’s dancing with somebody else it’s these big large, attention-seeking movements.”

Agreeing with the psychologist’s analysis, one fan wrote on Reddit, “Essentially saying everything most of us have been saying about him!”

“I just love that phrase so much- ‘If you had to embody narcissism in a dance, that would be it.’ So true!” wrote another.

A third admired Dr. Colarassi’s analysis and said, “I have been watching this guy this season. He’s been reviewing the episodes. He’s great and his analysis is spot on!”

  1. The psychologist affirms my thoughts while watching the episode EXACTLY.
He was almost MANIC heading to the wedding, and rude to PROJECT his own failures upon the groom. Shame on him.
