Marc Blucas Is Starring In New Great American Christmas Movie
On Tuesday, TVFanatic reported that Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum, Marc Blucas, is joining Candace Cameron Bure in the upcoming Great American Christmas movie, A Christmas…Present.
Marc and CCB will portray a married couple, Eric and Maggie Larson in this faith-based movie. This is the first movie that CCB’s Candy Rock Entertainment will partner with Great American Family since signing with former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott’s new network.
Candy Rock Entertainment has been very busy. They are also behind another Great American Christmas movie, Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Christmas On Candy Cane Lane. This second movie stars one of CCB’s best pals, Andrea Barber (Fuller House, Hollywood Darlings), and Dan Payne (Watchmen, Virgin River).
However, as the two movies are being filmed simultaneously, and in two different countries, there will not be an on-screen reunion of D.J. Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler. Just both names in the credits.

However, they stop all their extra holiday plans because they are reminded that this is the first Christmas for Maggie’s brother since her sister-in-law passed away.
Therefore, they have decided to spend Christmas with Maggie’s brother, Paul, and his daughter, Ashley. This is a difficult time and family is more important than ever.
Things don’t start too smoothly. Maggie likes to stay busy, and check items off a list. Meanwhile, her brother prefers to take things slower and embrace the moment. Therefore, their ideas about Christmas are dramatically different.
Yet, after a few unexpected events, things start to transform for the Larsons. Maybe Christmas is meant to be more peaceful than busy?
