She has filmed thousands of shows during that time. Vanna steps out in jaw-dropping evening gowns and sexy dresses while revealing the letters of the puzzle. The hosts sat down for an interview with Good Morning America to look back at the popular game show. Vanna revealed one of her biggest blunders while on-air.

Vanna White shares an embarrassing moment

It’s hard to believe that the Wheel of Fortune hostess made a huge blunder in a themed episode. She’s often poised and confident during each broadcast. However, the 65-year-old admitted that she made a mistake while filming the game show. It happened when one of the players won a million dollars in 2015. It’s a moment that she still hasn’t lived down.

“During Christmas, we had presents on both ends of the puzzle board and one of the presents got stuck on my gown,” Vanna White explained. “And I’m going back and forth back and forth.”

Both Vanna and Pat Sajak got a good chuckle as they recalled this moment. She admitted that she “didn’t feel” the gift that clung to the bottom of her dress. Pat laughed and asked to see the clip of the gift attached “again.” He didn’t want to forget it, but Vanna didn’t want to relive that moment again.

She hoped that no one behind the scenes had the footage. “No, no, that’s enough… that’s enough,” she said with a smile on her face.

Fans took to the YouTube video of the interview to share their thoughts. One thought that Vanna White handled that situation with grace. Another noted that it was “funny” that she didn’t know the package was there all this time.

Wheel of Fortune Season 40 has a whole new look

Wheel of Fortune will return on Monday, September 12. The game show has a whole new look. Vanna White and Pat Sajak gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the new puzzle display. The brand-new board was unveiled in lieu of the 40th season.

It’s a gigantic flat-screen TV that displays letters upon touch. This comes after its major update in 1997 when the turntable pieces were exchanged for television monitors that would touch the letter to activate it. Thinking back, this was cutting-edge for the show to do.

In the meantime, Pat and Vanna will co-host another season. Last year, they admitted that they’re both one step “closer to the end” of the show. They have no idea what will happen to the future of Wheel of Fortune. Vanna and Pat will co-host for another two years as they renewed their contracts into the 2024 season.
