‘Sister Wives’ Does Kody Brown Still See Truely Since Divorce?
Christine Brown was Kody Brown’s third wife in the Sister Wives family, and she was also the first to leave him. After 26 years of marriage and six children, Christine finally said goodbye.
Now, fans have wondered about their youngest daughter, Truely, and whether Kody even sees her anymore.
Christine Brown and Truely left Sister Wives
Kody Brown married Christine, 50, in 1994. She was his third of his Sister Wives and the two had six children over the years. Of these kids, five are now adults, with son Paedon, 24, and daughters Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26; Gwendlyn, 20, and Ysabel, 19. However, they also have a younger daughter in 12-year-old Truely.
Christine admitted in a PEOPLE interview that she stopped believing in polygamy in 2018. She said, “I started thinking maybe this isn’t working for me. And then I stopped believing in polygamy. I realized I didn’t really want to live it anymore. I didn’t like sharing a husband or feeling like I wasn’t important.” With that, Christine finally left and took daughter Truely with her.
With Kody and his other three Sister Wives, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn, still living in Arizona, Christine and Truely went back to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she said she feels back at home again. “I got to start over again and it was exciting and it was new and so scary because I had no idea what to expect, but I was so excited. I remember feeling hope for the first time in a long time because I just got to take my life by my own and go. It was wonderful.”
Does Kody Brown still see daughter, Truely?
As for Kody and Truely, Christine said that they co-parent and Kody still sees his daughter. He has a total of 18 children between his three wives and Christine. She said that Kody still sees his daughter “often” but that they are embracing their new life away from the polygamous family, and are excited to explore new adventures together.
“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened up Truely’s door and been like, ‘What should we do for fun today?’ And so we just pick a destination and we go and we just have fun and we just go and explore. I mean, it’s just absolutely amazing,” Christine said.
She also said that she has no plans to ever go back to a polygamous relationship like she had on Sister Wives. “I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately,” she said. “I will be a monogamist from here on out.”
There is also good news for Christine’s fans. While she is leaving Sister Wives, she is not leaving reality television. Christine is enjoying her post-Sister Wives life with a cooking show that also airs on TLC, the first season premiering in February. The show is Cooking with Just Christine and its second season arrives on September 11, 2022.
