Michael & Amy Halterman Net Worth: How Will They Support Two Babies?

Michael and Amy Halterman had some very exciting news to share with the world this week. Amy gave birth to their second son on July 5, 2022. They named the baby Glenn Allen Halterman and he seems perfectly healthy.

The Haltermans also have another little boy, Gage. He will be two years old this fall. TLC never officially confirmed that 1000-Lb. Sisters would come back for a fourth season, but fans would love to get to see the little boys onscreen together.

However, Amy did say she is thinking about stepping back from the series to take care of her kids. But can the Haltermans afford to raise two kids without TLC?

Does Amy Halterman make enough to support the kids?

As per In Touch Weekly, Amy Halterman has a net worth of about $250,000.

“In addition to her TV appearances, Amy has a growing YouTube channel that she often posts to with more than 500,000 subscribers,” the publication writes. “The reality star also does Cameos, which are personalized videos for fans, at $50 per clip and some of which feature her son, Gage. Although neither Amy nor Tammy have disclosed how much they earn per episode of the show, it’s speculated the figure could be relative to other stars on the small screen.”

And according to Business Insider, that is definitely going to pay off long-term.

“For those docu-ensembles, especially if they’re nobodies, per episode it ranges from low-end, like $1,500 an episode, to $3,000 at the high end,” Business Insider says. “And then after three years of success, it can go up to $7,000 to $10,000 an episode. After that, you start moving into the Kardashian level.”

So in other words, as long as Amy Halterman keeps making TV appearances, she will probably have enough money to support her family. But if she leaves, an entirely different story could play out.

Could the show survive without one of the sisters?

Fans would definitely be sad to see Amy leave, but there’s no doubt that the show could definitely continue without her. A lot of fans tune in to see how her older sister Tammy Slaton is doing.

Rumor has it that Tammy Slaton is doing quite well these days and even qualified for bariatric surgery. Due to scheduling issues, her surgery will now be at the end of July. After watching the TLC star struggle for so many years, fans are happy that she is taking her health seriously and is moving in the right direction.
