1000-Lb. Sisters star Gage Halterman is officially a big brother!

News broke this morning that Amy and Michael Halterman gave birth to baby #2 this week. Amy had a c-section scheduled for July 5th. Technically, her due date for Gage’s baby brother was July 18th. She, however, told fans she had planned on scheduling a c-section for around July 4th weekend. Based on her pregnancy updates on Instagram, fans were able to make an educated guess that the c-section was scheduled for July 5th. And, it was.

As TvShowsAce previously reported, Amy Halterman dropped her very first photos of baby #2 after news of the birth broke via a People Magazine exclusive.

Amy Halterman’s Instagram post included a photo of herself and Michael Halterman snuggling the little guy from the hospital room. The post also included a few close-up shots of baby #2. And, she shared her very first photo of Gage Halterman snuggled up with his new baby brother.

Amy Halterman’s Instagram post revealed baby #2’s name was Glenn Allen Halterman. Baby Glenn weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 17.5 inches at birth. The 1000-Lb. Sisters star doubled down on the fact that she had no plans of having more children. In her official statement to People Magazine, she noted her family was “complete” now that she had Gage and Glenn. Amy Halterman had previously told plans she planned to get her tubes tied while she got her c-section.

Amy Halterman shared several photos of her precious new bundle of joy on Instagram. This included the very first photo of Gage Halterman meeting his baby brother. The photo was an up-close shot of Gage Halterman sitting with his newborn baby brother Glenn in his lap. In the photo, Gage had a very curious smile on his face as he looked down at his new baby brother.

The photo sent fans swooning in the comments. They were so happy for Amy and Michael Halterman. As fans know, having children was the biggest driving factor for Amy’s weight loss journey. And, she wasted no time bringing children into the world after having her weight loss surgery.
