Duggar Family Dropping Hints There’s Another Bombshell Coming Soon?
Could there be another Duggar family bombshell dropping soon? After Josh Duggar’s conviction in December and the news of Jana’s child endangerment misdemeanor, fans and critics are waiting for something else to come out. Some fans and critics believe that the family has lots of secrets that might be exposed eventually. But we don’t really know what is happening behind the scenes.
The family’s recent social media activity has fans wondering if something else could be going on. What has the Counting On family done to spark these questions?
Since Josh was arrested in the spring of 2021, the whole family tried to lay low. They posted on social media here and there but it seemed to be less often than usual. Then, after Josh’s guilty verdict, Jim Bob and Michelle’s Instagram account became much less active. They have only posted once since he was found guilty.
While Jim Bob and Michelle haven’t been posting, some of their children have made pretty big announcements this week. There has been heavy speculation that Jim Bob has some control over his kids’ social media activity.
Duggar family attempting to distract from something else?
Interestingly, when the news broke on Thursday that Jana had pled guilty and settled her child endangerment charge, some big family news broke. Jeremiah Duggar revealed he is engaged to Hannah Wissmann on Thursday.
Then, on Friday, Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Nakatsu, shared a gender reveal video for their first baby on the way. While this might not seem so suspicious on its own, the video looks like it was filmed months ago at a park. The grass is green and the trees still have leaves on them. Some of the family members pictured are wearing short sleeves.
Based on the weather in Springdale, Arkansas, where the Duggars live, it doesn’t seem likely that it was filmed in the past week or two, as you can see here. Because so many Duggars were present, it looks like the party took place in Arkansas.
Might Jim Bob have asked his kids to share these two big announcements amid Jana’s guilty plea? Or could there be something else happening soon that they are hoping to deflect from? At this point, it’s all speculation that they might have something to hide. So, fans will have to wait and see what happens. There could be more big news about the family very soon.

Author is definitely not a southerner. We were having record highs until a week or two ago. The week before Christmas I was in town and saw iris blooming as well as other flowers. We were wearing shorts on New Year’s. The next day we had snow. Entirely possible they were wearing short sleeve clothes until that time.
Omg, who cares. TLC needs to cut these people off FOR GOOD! Personally I’m sick of it’s being a shock when they have kids….what else do they have to do? Nothing! Take any of this stuff off the air, let them fend for themselves and then we can see how many kids they have, none. They won’t be able to afford it. This group gives their style of “Christianity” a really bad name. Goodbye Josh, enjoy the other prisoners cuz they’ll be enjoying you.
