Jedidiah & Katey Duggar Reveal Baby #1’s Gender
Jedidiah and Katey Duggar are happy to share with fans the gender of their first baby. In July, the couple shared the exciting news that they are growing their little family. The baby will arrive in the spring.
Since sharing their announcement with fans, the couple has been laying pretty low on social media. No one has really heard much about Katey’s pregnancy or the couple, in general.
But they have finally returned to tell fans some very exciting news. They now know the gender of their first baby!
So, are Jedidiah and Katey having a baby girl or a baby boy?

On YouTube on Friday afternoon, Jedidiah and Katey uploaded a new video. It’s titled, “JED & KATEY DUGGAR – GENDER REVEAL!!!” The mom-to-be is wearing a pink, yellow, and blue color-blocked dress, while Jedidiah wears a blue button-down shirt with jeans.
In the video, the family is gathered at a park for the gender reveal. There are pink and blue decorations around a covered area with picnic tables. Right before the big reveal, Jedidiah and Katey allow their guests to choose a pink or blue lollipop.
Then, the whole family heads out into a grassy area. Katey asks everyone to stand on either side of them, depending on their predictions.
When it’s time for the reveal, Katey’s father pitches a baseball to Jedidiah, who is ready with a bat. When the ball hits the bat, blue smoke rolls out. It’s a boy!
Jedidiah and Katey hugged each other as they celebrated the special family moment, while everyone else cheered. Then, they’re surrounded by the rest of the family. Of course, there are plenty of hugs to go around.
In an Instagram post, Jedidiah and Katey shared a couple of black and white photos from the reveal and encouraged fans to head to their YouTube channel to check it out. They have their Instagram comments section restricted, so not many people can comment. But Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Webster congratulated them already.
