Josh Duggar Found GUILTY Of Child Porn Charges

Josh Duggar’s verdict is finally here. For months, fans and critics of the Duggar family have been wondering whether he will end up behind bars. Now, we have an answer.

The former TLC star was arrested in April for receiving and possessing child pornography. He was then living with a court-approved custodian under strict conditions until his trial. His trial began on November 30 and has now officially wrapped up.

Many of Josh’s family members showed up in the courtroom, but it’s unclear who was there to support him and who wanted to get the facts about his actions. Not only did the trial include details about his alleged actions, but it also focused on his molestation scandal. As a teen, he admitted to molesting several of his sisters. This ended up playing a big role in his trial because it was used to show he would have had a motive in downloading the disgusting content. It proves this has been a pattern in his life for years.

Josh Duggar’s verdict is revealed.

Wednesday’s court session included each side’s closing arguments and then, the jury began deliberating. They eventually paused and asked to resume on Thursday.

On Thursday, December 9, the jury finally finished deliberating at the courthouse. The Sun reports that Josh was found guilty on both charges, receiving and possessing child pornography. He was immediately detained into custody.

Judge Brooks said, “Mr Duggar 100 percent has been compliant awaiting trial. I appreciate that and I wanted to acknowledge that. However because of the guilty offenses, he must be detained regardless of flight risk so there will be a mandatory detention. The marshalls will set that up.”

Sentencing could take about four months. He’s facing up to 20 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines on each count.

According to The Sun, “Jim Bob Duggar hugged Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, after the verdict was read.” The reporter called Anna “completely stoic.”

The Sun also reports, “Josh Duggar told his wife, Anna Duggar, he loved her on the way out.”

Josh was reportedly “teary-eyed but not crying.”

  1. Can’t believe Josh’s parents aren’t sickened by what he did to his sisters.
Josh is sick and the family needs to recognize that he needs help and in a facility where he has no computer or accessibility to a computer or phone.
Can’t believe Anna is still with him and continues to have more children.
