‘RHONJ’ Joe Gorga Cancels Comedy Show For Shocking Reason

For Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Gorga, having a comedy career has been somewhat of a passion of his. So it came as no surprise when he booked a gig outside BravoCon in Las Vegas, it seemed his career was heading in the right direction. And it was even better that he booked not just any club, but Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club. With such star power like Brad Garrett behind him, anybody would be excited. That was until recently when the Bravo star learned that he wouldn’t be performing at the famed club.

Trick Or Treat

On Halloween, as kids gathered candy, it appeared that Joe Gorga received a trick this year as actor Brad Garrett shared an image of his performance flier. Showing Joe Gorga, it also presented Garrett as the host. Again, a star opportunity to say the least, but the actor insisted, “ALERT!! This is NOT AN ACTUAL Show at my club and people are being scammed to buy tickets via a fake link on Facebook. So @catchnewjersey not sure how you put this show together but it wasn’t from us. I am not on Facebook.”

Brad Garret continued to warn fans that the person behind the booking was taking money for a show that didn’t exist. With some already purchasing tickets, many wondered why Joe Gorga promoted the show.

While rumors swirled as to exactly what happened, a representative of Joe Gorga released a statement, admitting, “It was coming from a fake Brad Garrett. Joe’s attorney was scammed. They even had signed contracts in place.” The person added that the Bravo star learned about the deception.

Joe Gorga Upset Over The News

Besides his representative, Joe Gorga shared a video on his Instagram, revealing he was scammed. “Guys, this is regarding the comedy show. We just got the news. … It’s a complete scam.” Although the reality star learned the devastating news, fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey can still see him at BravoCon, which is really being held in Las Vegas.

Knowing that anybody can be scammed, Brad Garrett supported Joe Gorga and Jaclyn Marfuggi. “It was not their fault. It was booked through a comedy club in NJ who didn’t go through the proper channels and talked to some jerk-off impostor on Facebook. Note to all: when someone asks for $ upfront to work at your club it’s most likely a scam. Stay safe everyone.”

As for Brad Garrett Comedy Club, it seems they couldn’t help out Joe Gorga even if they wanted to. According to the club’s website, the venue is already booked with comedians like Karen Rontowski. The show is scheduled to run until November 5, which would have been the night Gorga was expected to perform.
