Joe Gorga’s Legal Troubles Get Worse With Latest Blow
RHONJ househusband Joe Gorga’s legal troubles have worsened with the latest blow. Things have been mounting for some time for both Joe and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Yet, they have kept living and celebrating successes in their world. So, what is the big legal drama that is affecting the Gorgas right now? Read on for more details.
Joe Gorga’s Legal Troubles Get Worse With Latest Blow
It is no secret that Melissa and Joe Gorga have faced some legal issues recently. Last month, it came out that they were being sued by someone who stayed at their property. Then, she allegedly sustained injuries during her time at the New Jersey home. Additionally, she said the Gorgas kept it maintained in a “negligent, careless and reckless manner.” As for the couple, they denied any wrongdoing and believe that they are just fine in the situation. However, just a few days later, another bad situation surfaced for the Gorgas.
It was soon revealed that Melissa and Joe Gorga owed 16K for an outdoor kitchen that was built for them. They were even called out on Twitter for not paying the bill. “Probably time you called us back to pay your past due 16K bill from five years for your outdoor kitchen!!!” Easy Outdoor Kitchens wrote. Unfortunately for the couple, who will return for Season 14 of RHONJ, the drama is not over just yet. According to The Sun, Joe’s contractors have decided to hire high-powered attorneys to get back the money he supposedly owes them.
It is apparently a 110K battle between the Gorgas and County Concrete Corporation. Via All About the Tea, Joe was initially sued for around 30K last November. Then, the company opted to up the charges to what they are now, over 100K. Per court docs: “The Plaintiff has attempted on multiple occasions to contact the defendants. The defendants have failed to pay the monies owed to the plaintiff for the materials that were previously provided.” It is now a breach of contract.
What’s Next?
Joe Gorga has denied everything that has been alleged about him. Furthermore, he claimed that he acted “in good faith.” Additionally, he wants County Concrete Corp to pay his legal fees. Joe has one more lawsuit from his ex-attorney who is requesting over 3K in fees. Again, it seems like he is staying out of it. These lawsuits and all of this drama could play into his Season 14 storyline which might take him and Melissa away from the drama he has with his sister, Teresa Giudice. However, they still haven’t started filming so maybe it will all go away before then.
