Is ‘Below Deck’ Season 10 Having A Reunion?
Below Deck fans are wondering if Season 10 will have a reunion show. There are a lot of questions as to what happened to fired stews Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber. Of course, fans are also curious to see what Captain Lee Rosbach will say about Captain Sandy Yawn’s leadership.
She temporarily filled in for him this season. Reportedly, he didn’t agree to Captain Sandy’s decision to go over him and fire Camille. Not only did she fire one crew member, but she fired another one without taking it to him. Fans were hoping for a showdown during the reunion.
Captain Sandy fires Alissa Humber
In the latest episode of Below Deck, Captain Sandy fired second stew Alissa Humber for “insubordination.” This comes after she disrespected Captain Sandy with her snappy comebacks. She also talked about her behind her back and referred to her as “Sandy.” While most captains don’t care, Captain Sandy didn’t like it at all.
It bothered her and it was the last straw for Alissa. Captain Sandy asked boatswain Ross McHarg to meet with her. She explained the situation to him and shared her decision for firing Alissa. That’s when she brought Alissa in and fired her on the spot. She felt like Alissa was giving her the middle finger.
Captain Sandy previously gave Alissa a second chance after she fought with Camille in front of the charter guests. Earlier in this season of Below Deck, Captain Sandy fired Camille for drinking on the job. She also gave attitude to her crew members and slacked off while working as a stew and deckhand.
However, Alissa doesn’t believe she should’ve been fired. She thinks her race had something to do with it. Below Deck fans agree and accused Captain Sandy of “racism.” They were hoping to get some sort of solution during the reunion show.
Is there a Below Deck Season 10 reunion?
On Thursday, February 23, Alissa Humber took to her Instagram Stories to post a screenshot of an email she received from Bravo. The Below Deck Season 10 reunion was canceled. Alissa wrote “Interesting” across the post.
There is no reason why they canceled the reunion show. Fans were hoping to see the cast back together and address burning questions from this season. It’s unlikely that most of the crew members like Camille and Chef Rachel Hargrove would’ve returned, but they would’ve loved to have seen Captain Lee and Captain Sandy compare their leadership roles.
Also, Season 10 is Captain Lee’s last season. He wasn’t invited back to film Season 11. Below Deck fans would love to see the show give him a final goodbye. Rumors are swirling that production didn’t ask him to return in order to “freshen up” the long-running series.
Alissa previously shared she wouldn’t attend the Below Deck Season 10 reunion. What are your thoughts? Were you hoping to get a reunion episode? Sound off below in the comment section.
