On Monday’s episode of Below Deck, Captain Sandy Yawn was upset with Alissa Humber. She called her out for her “intolerable” behavior and snappy comments. Captain Sandy called it a “f*** you” to her face. In a previous episode, Alissa sarcastially said: “Sandy. I mean, Captain Sandy.”

She couldn’t get that moment off her mind. Captain Sandy called in boatswain Ross McHarg to meet with her. She informed him that she was firing Alissa Humber for her behavior. It’s common for the boatswain to be a witness during a firing.

“Yesterday was the [last] straw for me. Your insubordination and lack of respect are insurmountable,” Sandy told Alissa Humber in the new episode of the Bravo series. “Alissa, when you said, ‘Yes, Sandy. I mean Captain Sandy.’ That was a f*** you to my face. No matter what job you work in, respect for the hierarchy is a must. I am letting you go.”

Captain Sandy mentioned Alissa’s behavior was the reason for her firing. While she never enjoys firing someone, you have to “make the hard decisions.” Captain Sandy felt that she could live with this one. Alissa was immediately escorted from the St. David yacht just an hour and a half before the next set of charter guests came onboard.
