Below Deck fans have impatiently waited for Captain Lee Rosbach’s return. The longtime captain faced yet another health setback during Season 10. On the Monday, February 20th episode, he shared the big news with Captain Sandy Yawn, who filled in for him temporarily. He revealed that he got the okay from his doctor to return. Keep on reading for more details.
When will Captain Lee Rosbach return?
On the latest episode of the Bravo series, Captain Lee Rosbach shared some exciting news. Below Deck fans have been looking for him to come back. Most of them aren’t happy with the way that Captain Sandy Yawn handled the St. David crew. The fanbase is used to Lee, who has been part of the show since the beginning.
He went missing for much of Season 10. Lee had to step back from his position to focus on his health. He returned to the new season on the heels of his hip surgery. Unfortunately, he experienced numbness and mobility issues. Lee had to make the difficult decision to leave the boat.
The “Stud of the Sea” should return on the Monday, February 27 episode of Below Deck. In the recent episode, Captain Sandy received a call from Captain Lee. He informed her that he was medically cleared to return to St. Lucia. Lee will return to his duties and handle the crew himself.
He made a promise to Sandy at the beginning that he would return as soon as possible. Lee also made this promise to the Below Deck fans as well. He joked that he would kick out the captain who took over for him. Sandy warned Lee about the somewhat new crew that he will return to.
There have been many firings since Lee’s departure. Stew/deckhand Camille Lamb was fired for her boozy and lazy work ethic. Most recently, second stew Alissa Humber was fired for her “insubordinate” behavior. Captain Sandy didn’t like how Alissa addressed her in a previous conversation. She referred to her as “Sandy” instead of “Captain Sandy.”
How the Below Deck star feels about his return
Captain Lee feels great about his return. The Below Deck OG captain had to undergo physical therapy to get back on track. In his confessional, Captain Lee shared that he feels like he’s back home. He compared chartering the 196-foot luxury motor yacht to “riding a bike, but it’s a big bike.”
“Ok, I’ll be back next week, can’t wait to get back, feels good, no, feels great…” Lee tweeted. “Your outpouring of support is amazing, thank you so very much. I am touched.”
It’ll be interesting to see what Captain Lee thinks of this slimmed-down crew. Around the same time as Lee’s return is the new stew, Leigh Ann. What are your thoughts on Captain Lee’s return? Are you looking forward to it? Sound off below in the comment section.
New episodes of Below Deck Season 10 air on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
