‘DWTS’ Season 31 Releases Pro List, Who Else Is Coming Back?
Every year, Dancing With The Stars fans look forward to the new cast list. But what can fans expect from DWTS Season 31? It’s too soon to have the full cast list for the celebrity participants. However, fans officially know which pro dancers are going to be part of the cast now.
See who made the list and who is watching from home this year!
DWTS Season 31 puts out the pro dancer cast list ahead of schedule
The full celebrity participant cast list won’t be out until September 8. However, it seems as if the pro dancer cast list is out ahead of schedule. Fans can look forward to cheering on their favorite dancers now that they know who is returning. DWTS Season 31 will feature several familiar faces and a few new ones as well. DWTS insider Krystin Burtt officially confirmed the news this week.
The women professional dancers include:
- Britt Stewart
- Cheryl Burke
- Peta Murgatroyd
- Sharna Burgess
- Emma Slater
- Koko Iwasaki
- Daniella Karagach
- Witney Carson
- Val Chmerkovskiy
- Alan Bersten
- Artem Chigvintsev
- Gleb Savchenko
- Louis Van Amstel
- Brandon Armstrong
- Pasha Pashkov
Troupe members include:
- Ezra Sosa
- Alexis Warr
- Kateryna Klishyna
- Sasha Farber
Absent from the pro list are Lindsay Arnold and Jenna Johnson. Jenna and her husband Val Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child together, so she opted to sit this season out. Lindsay Arnold hasn’t officially commented on her absence yet, but there could be a few reasons for that. She’s expressed a desire to have more children, so she could be expecting and just hasn’t publically confirmed the news yet.
But last year, Lindsay also caused quite a commotion after her elimination and said the judges had a hidden agenda. It’s also possible the DWTS Season 31 exec team just wasn’t in the mood for more drama this year.
Fans rejoice over Peta Murgatroyd’s grand return to the ballroom
Many Dancing With The Stars fans weren’t expecting Peta Murgatroyd to make a comeback for Season 31. After bravely coming forward about her three miscarriages, Peta announced she and her husband Maks would try IVF to conceive a baby. Sadly, things didn’t go according to plan. The dancer confirmed she wants to have another child someday, but she just isn’t getting her wish right now.
It seems as if Peta is going to dive into her work and try to win the Mirrorball Trophy while her family plans are on hold.
