S*xual Exploitation Case Against Texas Coach Reveals 39 Victims
A Texas football coach found himself the subject of a seven-week police investigation concerning child p*rnography charges. Through the investigation, police has numbered at least 39 victims in the case, with more charges being added to the case. Three lawsuits have also been filed on behalf of the alleged victims and their families.
A Celina Police Chief Shared The Number Of Victims Increased Following Lengthy Investigation
A former coach and teacher for Moore Middle School in Celina, Texas, William Caleb Elliott, was arrested back in early October. At the time, Elliott was charged with invasive visual recording, a state felony.
Later investigations added further charges, including promoting or possessing child pornography and sexual performance of a child. Elliott is the son of Bill Elliott, who himself served as the athletic director and head football coach for Celina High School.

Early on, reports claimed as many as 30 victims were involved in the case. After a seven-week investigation, the number had increased to 39.
According to CBS News, Celina police shared that the investigation had ended on November 18, involving dozens of witnesses, victims, and alleged suspects. However, it was said the case would be reopened pending new information.
After new evidence came out in late November, Celina Police Chief John Cullison shared, “As I said last week, this case would not rest, and I am extremely grateful for witnesses who bravely came forward and shared their story. Our Criminal Investigation Division carefully reviewed new allegations from these witnesses and had sufficient evidence to add this new charge to the suspect’s case.” This brings the number of charges brought against Elliot to four.

Reportedly, two witnesses walked into the CPD lobby to speak with police on October 3, 2025. It was then that Elliott had originally been arrested.
Earlier in November, a federal grand jury indicted Elliott on seven counts of producing child pornography. He also faced one count of attempted production. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the FBI was leading the investigation through Project Safe Childhood.
Lawsuits Have Also Come Out, Claiming That Elliott’s Behavior Was Covered Up
An indictment alleged that Elliott coerced minor victims into sexually explicit conduct between April and October of this year. Using the internet and digital devices, he had recorded images and videos of these incidents. According to documents, one case alleged that Elliott coerced a student into a naked stunt in order to get back a backpack. Currently, Elliott remains at Collin County Jail.
Three lawsuits have since been filed by some members of the alleged victims’ families. These suits have reportedly accused Celina ISD of covering up Elliott’s behavior.

Attorney Zeke Fortenberry, who filed the latest suit, shared in a statement, “As a former crimes against children prosecutor, I have seen lots of terrible things relating to the abuse of children. The fact that Elliott made boys in the locker room perform naked jumping jacks and burpees is terrible. What’s worse is that despite Elliott’s history, Celina ISD did nothing to supervise Elliott’s actions in the locker room. And no Celina ISD employee reported his misconduct.”
