Candace Cameron Bure Shares Heartbreaking Tribute
Actress Candace Cameron Bure recently shared a tribute on social media. The post was shared in honor of a special day, all the while touching on a heartbreaking loss. Many fans have since been sharing their reactions to the Full House star’s tribute on social media.
Candace Cameron Bure Is Known For Many Projects, From Full House To Great American Media
Bure first came to prominence as a child star playing D.J. Tanner on Full House. The sitcom, which came out in 1987, proved popular enough to last eight seasons. In 2016, Bure reprised the character in the Netflix sequel series, Fuller House.
Over the years, Bure would also become known for her work with Hallmark and Great American Media. even becoming chief content officer for the latter in 2022.
However, Bure hasn’t forgotten the other stars that helped been a part of her own life and career. Recently, the actress released a tribute to the late Bob Saget, who played her character’s father, Danny Tanner, on Full House, in honor of his birthday.
Bure wrote in a caption, “Woke up this morning with something on my mind. It was you. Happy birthday sweet friend. I miss you.”
Saget, who was born on May 17, 1956, passed away on January 9, 2022. At the time, an autopsy report claimed he had endured blunt head trauma, most likely from a fall. He was 65 at the time of his death.
Outside of the series, Saget was also known for as a standup comedian, with a lot of his work being a departure from his squeaky clean image as Danny Tanner. He was also known for being the original host of America’s Funniest Home Videos and for providing Ted Mosby’s narration on How I Met Your Mother.
Fans Also Shared Their Condolences In Honor Of Bob Saget’s Birthday
In the accompanying video, Bure showed a video slideshow comprised of photos and videos of her and Saget. This included their time on the set together.
However, Bure also included photos of Saget at her wedding and at a Christmas party together. There wasn’t much audio in the video, although Saget’s voice could be heard during a recording on the set of Fuller House.

Many fans shared their own condolences in the comment section. After all, many grew up watching Saget as “America’s Dad” on Full House. Quite a few fans also highlighted specific moments in the video that got them emotional. Some comments included:
