Candace Cameron Bure Teases Christmas Movie: Could It Be With Cameron Mathison?
Candace Cameron Bure has teased a new Christmas movie on her social media accounts. Could it be the Home Sweet Christmas sequel with her buddy Cameron Mathison?
Here is what we know about CCB’s 2025 Great American Christmas movie.
Looks Like Candace Cameron Bure Is Filming Home Sweet Christmas Sequel
This year, CCB didn’t celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday. However, this should excite Christmas movie fans. Candace Cameron Bure posted on Instagram Stories, “I actually celebrated Mother’s Day early with my family, because I’m not at home. I’m about to start a movie tomorrow, so I’m away.” However, she did not share any details.
Then, on Tuesday, she shared a short IG Story with her in a red dress and jacket. She asked fans if they could guess what sort of movie she was filming. She revealed that this is a Christmas movie. Again, she did not share much else.
However, it looks like fans of the Full House star already have an answer. She is surely filming A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding. This movie was listed on the industry site Creative BC. This movie is in production between May 12 and May 30. Moreover, Paula Elle, who directed the first movie, is directing this one as well.
Also, at the January Great American Family Facebook Live, CCB announced that she was doing her first sequel movie, and it would be with her pal Cameron Mathison. Therefore, this news was not unexpected.

What Is Home Sweet Christmas About?
Although Great American Family has not released any information on the production of A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding, Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison fans may want a reminder of what Home Sweet Christmas was about. This could possibly give out some hints about the sequel.
In the original movie, CCB portrays Sophie Marlow. She is a successful attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions. When her beloved Uncle Henry dies, he leaves her 60 percent ownership of Marlow Maple Meadows. This is a sugar maple forest where they tap for maple syrup.
When Sophie arrives at the farm, she remembers the good times she had when she visited. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and she had not returned to visit in years. While she checks out the property, she meets with Sam, her childhood friend. Of course, Sam is portrayed by Cameron Mathison.
Sam is not there by happenstance. He inherited 40 percent of the property. Therefore, when he heard what Uncle Henry put in his will, he came out to the farm. Now, the old friends are spending more time on the farm. They know that this property is hot and they could get top dollar.
However, they are not exactly ready to let go.
Viewers can imagine that this sequel will see Sam and Sophie get married at the sugar maple farm. However, Great American Media has not yet released any information on the sequel.
