The Gold Whisperers are back. Discovery has announced a new season of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy & Juan. Gold experts Freddy Dodge and Juan Ibarra are back helping small-time gold miners tweak solve their problems and make their grand gold mining dreams come true.

Freddy and Juan are back. Discovery has announced a new season of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue With Freddy & Juan. These two take bush fixes to a new level. What should gold mining fans expect this season?
According to The Futon Critic, fans should expect more clever hacks, and ingenious solutions because of their combined 50+ years of gold mining. In this season, they are helping keep more mine owners from going under.
However, this season, the gold recovery experts will only get paid if the miners double their gold. This is a big risk, but Freddy and Juan are the best. They are not going to travel 12,000 miles through two countries for a small increase. They want see gold miners to get all they can from their gold mine.
This season sees some high-tech solutions and some unique builds. They spend a lot of time in the Southwest including Twentynine Palms, California, and then up to Kingman and Stanton Arizona. By the fourth episode of this new series, the two also make it to Montana, where their hacks help miners get to the good gold. Eventually, they head to Oregon, and Canada. Although most fans are used to the Klondike, this pair ends up in British Columbia. What will they find there?
For example, Freddy declares that he is standing over $17 million worth of gold. How does he know that? It is Freddy Dodge, and his methods mean money. This also means some extra hands to excavate. Freddy and Juan may offer solutions, but there is still some work needed to get to the gold.
Both Freddy & Juan Starred In OG Gold Mining Series
Gold Rush fans may recall that Freddy Dodge was first on the Discovery series helping out Todd Hoffman as part of his crew. By Season 3, Freddy’s personality and expertise made him a fan-favorite and regular on the series. Eventually, he earned a spinoff in 2021.
As for Juan Ibarra, he also started out on the Hoffman crew in Season 6. However, when Todd moved on from Discovery, Juan started working for Tony Beets in Season 9. Juan has starred in two other spinoffs including Winter’s Fortune, and Dave Turin’s Lost Mine.
