When Hope Calls Season 2 Overview
There have been some changes in Brookfield in When Hope Calls Season 2. According to Parade Magazine, this includes some of the characters. Joining the series is Cindy Busby, who portrays Nora Anderson. She has come to this town with a purpose. Next, there is a new mountie in town, Michael “Fearless” Fletcher, portrayed by Christopher Russell. He is filling in for Gabriel (RJ Hatanaka).
Meanwhile, Sam (Jon McLaren) has returned from his gold mining adventure which has made him grow. He is interested in Maggie (Hanneke Talbot), but her parents may have a different opinion of him. Lastly, Morgan Kohan’s Lillian is back. However, Grace (Jocelyn Hudon) is in Lonon with her husband Chuck (Greg Hovanessian). But Lillian’s long-distance relationship with Gabriel is difficult.
As for Tess (Wendy Crewson), she gets help from her brother-in-law Ronnie (Neil Crone). Lastly, there is another new face, Hannah Lawrence (Sarah Fisher). She is taking over her late uncle’s ranch, thanks to Wyatt (Nick Bateman).
In addition, Trevor Donovan will be joining the series as a special guest star.

In Episode 1, “When Nora, an out-of-town lawyer, arrives in Brookfield led by an unexpected family connection, the town welcomes her along with new Mountie Michael Fletcher, who is filling in for Mountie Gabriel. Sam returns from prospecting for gold and meets Maggie’s parents. When Lilian receives a letter from Mountie Gabriel telling her how much he loves her, she is torn between her long-distance love and ongoing duty to the orphanage. Hannah Lawrence inherits the ranch of her late uncle Ray, and with the help of Wyatt tries to keep it.”
In Episode 2, “Nora helps a young blind orphan, Charlotte finds Tess’ missing foal and Maggie’s parents offer her an early birthday present. Maggie returns her parents’ gift as she understands it is a distraction to keep her away from Sam. Nora is et to leave Brookfield to meet with a banker, but Lillian convinces her to stay until she can travel to London to be with Grace and Chuck who are expecting a baby.”
